NFH Family United's Alexander Sum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Danisiewicz in the 24th minute of play. Alexander Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fodil Mansouri in the 26th minute of play. Ray Philpott was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, one of Phenomenals FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Phenomenals FC. When the match had been going on for 31 minutes, NFH Family United's Wong Sophie got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Halim Kader. Halim Kader took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ang Chew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Marcin Danisiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Sum was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. A collision led to NFH Family United getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mark Chian hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Jithu Rajah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halim Kader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phenomenals FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because NFH Family United had won, even though Phenomenals FC had held more of the ball.
