In the 42nd minute, Cirilo Ritchie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, one of Oakham:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oakham.

The wind increased when Asiz Rajah made the kick off in the second half. Wong Butcher scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güney Mengüalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arrecifes's Güney Mengüalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wong Butcher in the 56th minute of play. Cirilo Ritchie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bryan Hui having to make a save. Bryan Hui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Güney Mengüalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asiz Rajah in the 60th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Oakham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Hong to maneuver through the defense. Arrecifes's Felipe Senon was substituted for Cirilo Ritchie. Arrecifes's Rodolfo Chumo was substituted for Waldemar Korytkowski. Oakham's Gara Hock was substituted for Mark Koh. Jerry Soon made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gara Hock however managed to control. If Gara Hock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryan Hui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Senon, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Felipe Senon might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Hui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Senon ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Wong Butcher came free, but Güney Mengüalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Gara Hock came free, but Güney Mengüalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute Gara Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güney Mengüalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Enrique Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 97 minutes into the game, Wong Butcher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Güney Mengüalp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Oakham had played much better football throughout.
