When Khachatryan's Tigran Kirakosyan in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Khachatryan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jermaine Richmond should have stopped the shot. The wind increased when Merlin Castro made the kick off in the second half. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Castro in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Canalla de Chicago's zone, Merlin Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilbur Hyde came out of the goal and Merlin Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khachatryan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
