In the 5th minute, Tigran Kirakosyan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Khachatryan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Shaki Conn made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Merlin Castro sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Merlin Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shaki Conn came out of the goal and Merlin Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Merlin Castro. The crowd rose to their feet as Merlin Castro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Shaki Conn. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Ivey came free, but Jermaine Richmond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jermaine Richmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ken Ivey, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Shaki Conn came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Khachatryan's Tigran Kirakosyan. But to his dismay, Tigran Kirakosyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 31st minute Lucas Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jermaine Richmond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merlin Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaki Conn having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Navarro came free, but Jermaine Richmond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Merlin Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shaki Conn was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Jermaine Richmond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ken Ivey, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. ForestFire's Shaki Conn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tigran Kirakosyan in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merlin Castro got free with Shaki Conn in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sung McKinley fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Khachatryan's protests and gave Sung McKinley a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, one of Khachatryan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Khachatryan. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Merlin Castro made the kick off in the second half. Shaki Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tigran Kirakosyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Tigran Kirakosyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaki Conn having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Khachatryan's Ervin Huber got a free kick in the 74th minute. Jermaine Richmond was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luisito James. After 82 played minutes Khachatryan got a freekick which was hit by Albert Paulíny. ForestFire's Luisito James got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ken Ivey hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Shaki Conn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tigran Kirakosyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Merlin Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shaki Conn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Khachatryan's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
