Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Brooklyn SC's Jonas Cole started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute of the match, Joaquim Vilar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jospeh McNally saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 5th minute Joaquim Vilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Joaquim Vilar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jospeh McNally was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Joaquim Vilar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jospeh McNally having to make a save. Wilbur Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginald Ludwig, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Wilbur Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trenton Long, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilbur Hyde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Cole in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Beard in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilbur Hyde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Cole's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilbur Hyde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Brooklyn SC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after El Canalla de Chicago's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonas Cole took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Lopez got free with Jospeh McNally in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jospeh McNally tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Carlo Greenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilbur Hyde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Beard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingo Lopez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Stacy McDonough got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Joaquim Vilar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jospeh McNally having to make a save. Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Lopez in the 57th minute of play. Trenton Long recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilbur Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Beard, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Gerardo Beard didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 64th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Gerardo Beard ran dejectedly back to his position. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Vilar during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Jonas Cole had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jospeh McNally stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justin Raines's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Justin Raines sped through Brooklyn SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jospeh McNally. Dwight Schrute's late challenge caught a El Canalla de Chicago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dwight Schrute helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwight Schrute to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. El Canalla de Chicago were victorious despite being under pressure from Brooklyn SC for much of the match.
