The crowd rose to their feet as Danil Shashkov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ilias Atmatzidis. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. When Benedicto Prejun fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casta FC's protests and gave Benedicto Prejun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Casta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Prejun to maneuver through the defense. Danil Shashkov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilias Atmatzidis came out and tried to block the shot, but Danil Shashkov slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Casta FC's Ilias Atmatzidis got control of the ball when Danil Shashkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Danil Shashkov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ilias Atmatzidis. Danil Shashkov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Ilias Atmatzidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danil Shashkov in the 25th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Casta FC's goalkeeper Ilias Atmatzidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Régis Souto. After 29 minutes Casta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Régis Souto who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Régis Souto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Casta FC's Ilias Atmatzidis did a great save. Casta FC's Ilias Atmatzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danil Shashkov in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes Casta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Régis Souto who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Marcelo Alagoano to score against Ilias Atmatzidis in Casta FC's goal. 4-0 after 33 minutes. When Gerardo Resto fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casta FC's protests and gave Gerardo Resto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when Casta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Resto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Chico Hermes got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Danil Shashkov made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Casta FC's Eleuterio Lauren got a free kick in the 54th minute. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Régis Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Blumenau Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Arnaldo Seber hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Danil Shashkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Atmatzidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Régis Souto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ilias Atmatzidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danil Shashkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Danil Shashkov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilias Atmatzidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 76 minutes into the match, Danil Shashkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilias Atmatzidis. Casta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danil Shashkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Tami Abraham was substituted for Danil Shashkov. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Nildo Dantas was substituted for Luís Fernando Rossi. Casta FC's Ilias Atmatzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tami Abraham in the 83rd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Tami Abraham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ilias Atmatzidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Lucas-Ignacio Lugano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Jürgen Klinsmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blumenau Esporte Clube's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
