Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) When Beto Vander came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Blumenau Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beto Vander couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Leonel Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Marc Brand. Mjöllnir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Flávio Meireles struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Marc Brand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blumenau Esporte Clube. After 20 played minutes Délio Gerber rounded Mjöllnir's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Délio Gerber had several of the Mjöllnir's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Marc Brand as he didn't even see the shot coming. Leonel Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Délio Gerber kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marc Brand. That made the score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. Beto Vander scored 6-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marc Brand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 played minutes Mjöllnir got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Schmidlin. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Délio Gerber made the kick off in the second half. Marc Brand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Meireles in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mjöllnir's Quentin Schmidlin got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Leonel Jacinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Marc Brand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mjöllnir's zone, Délio Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Brand came out of the goal and Délio Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Délio Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Gonçalo Mendonça seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gonçalo Mendonça the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Blumenau Esporte Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gonçalo Mendonça had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 65 minutes into the game, one of Blumenau Esporte Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ralf Scenna walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Marc Brand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Délio Gerber's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Leonel Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marc Brand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Prado in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Mjöllnir's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Gerber came free, but Marc Brand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Délio Gerber notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Mjöllnir's Marc Brand. Marc Brand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marc Brand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Mjöllnir's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Gerber came free, but Marc Brand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mjöllnir's zone, Leonel Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Brand came out of the goal and Leonel Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Brand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Jacinto's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Ignatius Küttel charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignatius Küttel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blumenau Esporte Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
