When Mijdrecht Maffia's Roger Rekers in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Renan da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renan da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelinho Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Rekers in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Renan da Fonseca notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mijdrecht Maffia's Rob Poelman. Rob Poelman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Renan da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Rob Poelman. Mijdrecht Maffia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Theo Wijk kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Renan da Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rob Poelman having to make a save. In the 31st minute Renan da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Poelman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Renan da Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, Mijdrecht Maffia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Blanc to maneuver through the defense. Renan da Fonseca scored 0-4 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rob Poelman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rob Poelman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan da Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half Imbituba - FSCMZ were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Rekers was the one to do the kick off. When Renan da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Imbituba - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renan da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Renan da Fonseca scored 0-6 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rob Poelman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Renan da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rob Poelman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renan da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renan da Fonseca got free with Rob Poelman in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rob Poelman was a little too slow when Renan da Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-7. If Renan da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Imbituba - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renan da Fonseca in the 68th minute. The corner ended in Renan da Fonseca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mijdrecht Maffia's Rob Poelman did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan da Fonseca in the 69th minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rob Poelman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renan da Fonseca in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rob Poelman saved Mijdrecht Maffia from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Renan da Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rob Poelman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Renan da Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rob Poelman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. If Renan da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Imbituba - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renan da Fonseca in the 88th minute. The corner ended in Renan da Fonseca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mijdrecht Maffia's Rob Poelman did a great save. Renan da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rob Poelman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imbituba - FSCMZ. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Vieira in the 93rd minute of play forced Mijdrecht Maffia's goalkeeper Rob Poelman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renan da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rob Poelman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renan da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Cesinha Vieira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rob Poelman, passed just outside the right post. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Imbituba - FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
