Pål Siöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Hjortberg came free, but Rik Numan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Laurens Hollander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Frykberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Mijdrecht Maffia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Blommaart to maneuver through the defense. Vännäsby BF's Fritz Västerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerard Oost's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thor Frykberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 44th minute Fritz Västerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rik Numan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerard Oost stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Oost in the 61st minute of play forced Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Thor Frykberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Olof Backlund in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rik Numan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fritz Västerberg took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rik Numan. Rik Numan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Mijdrecht Maffia's Ernst Klooster got a free kick in the 79th minute. Rik Numan made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Fritz Västerberg sent off a good shot on target. After 83 played minutes Mijdrecht Maffia got a freekick which was hit by Gijsbert van Schaik. 87 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Blanc came free, but Thor Frykberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Klementsson got free with Rik Numan in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laurens Hollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Frykberg having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
