Gerard Oost who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Iker Darien when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Mijdrecht Maffia's Damien Knopper got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Damien Knopper fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mijdrecht Maffia's protests and gave Damien Knopper a yellow card for diving instead. Damien Knopper kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Venancio Socorro put in a rough tackle. Gertjan Theisens struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Iker Darien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mijdrecht Maffia. Iker Darien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerard Oost went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Iker Darien managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Mijdrecht Maffia's Gerard Oost fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gerard Oost could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Iker Darien made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Tiburones Rojos's Evelio Iratxo got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Mijdrecht Maffia booed when Tiburones Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Blanc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Darien having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gerard Oost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiburones Rojos's Iker Darien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Buring took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Darien. Iker Darien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 44 minutes, Gerard Oost made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tiburones Rojos's Iker Darien tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Stephen to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Mijdrecht Maffia's Damien Knopper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Darien made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When Mijdrecht Maffia's Gerard Oost in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tiburones Rojos's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes in the game, Higinio Stephen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rik Numan having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Marcel Blanc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iker Darien was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Tiburones Rojos's Iker Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Oost in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mijdrecht Maffia's zone, Ramon Gora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rik Numan came out of the goal and Ramon Gora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute, Gertjan Theisens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Gerard Oost managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mijdrecht Maffia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Oost was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Gerard Oost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiburones Rojos's Iker Darien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iker Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Oost in the 82nd minute of play. When Mijdrecht Maffia's Gerard Oost in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tiburones Rojos's goalie prevented a goal. Gerard Oost took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Darien. Iker Darien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Gertjan Theisens kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Gerard Oost left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mijdrecht Maffia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mijdrecht Maffia fully deserved thier win.
