Jeremias Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Dalkvist struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jeremias Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Bull Crystallis. Martin Dalkvist scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Octavio Efraim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Hechter in the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Hechter got free with Octavio Efraim in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nemesio Hechter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Martin Dalkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Sakis Paragioudakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Efraim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Bull Crystallis's goalkeeper Octavio Efraim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Thanos Schistos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympiacos FC and the Red Bull Crystallis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Red Bull Crystallis booed when Olympiacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanos Schistos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Dalkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Cruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Jeremias Cruz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Bull Crystallis's Martin Dalkvist. But to his dismay, Martin Dalkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 39th minute, Martin Dalkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Bull Crystallis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. A collision led to Olympiacos FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dimitris Xiros hit a great ball. If Martin Dalkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Olympiacos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Red Bull Crystallis were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Nemesio Hechter made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Red Bull Crystallis booed when Olympiacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Xiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Dalkvist in the 55th minute of the match. Red Bull Crystallis's Octavio Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakis Paragioudakis in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Red Bull Crystallis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 沈平伟 to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Schistos to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, 沈平伟 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeremias Cruz. The goal made the score 0-5.

Red Bull Crystallis's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
