In the 6th minute, Saturnino Johans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Red Bull Crystallis's Celestino Petrigai got a free kick in the 7th minute. Lucas Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Garoa in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Red Bull Crystallis getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Roberto Bizen hit a great ball. Lucas Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Johans in the 9th minute of play. If Bernabe Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Johans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Bastia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Santiago Pes charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Pes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucas Bastia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Red Bull Crystallis's Erasmo Orlondo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Red Bull Crystallis.

The wind increased when Saturnino Johans made the kick off in the second half. If Saturnino Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saturnino Johans was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Napoleón 2018 made a substitution. Dionisio Eleder replaced Antonio Alzamendi. Adrian Rosalio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Bastia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 88th minute, Adrian Rosalio made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Bastia. Red Bull Crystallis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Zeledon Cesaro took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Lucas Bastia to make any attempt to save it. In the 94th minute, Adrian Rosalio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucas Bastia. The goal made the score 0-12. After some careless play in the Red Bull Crystallis defense, Zeledon Cesaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Bastia. The Red Bull Crystallis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Bastia should have stopped the shot. Napoleón 2018's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
