Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kenny Billvall might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Backman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kenny Billvall ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Billvall in the 3rd minute of play forced Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 played minutes Kåge BF got a freekick which was hit by Linus Åström. U21 Sweden were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Kåge BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hans Bergfelt took the corner. Kenny Billvall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roland Backman came out and tried to block the shot, but Kenny Billvall slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute of the game Linus Åström made a throw-in which Torsten Bäcklin played forward. Kåge BF's Roland Backman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Billvall in the 15th minute of play. Kenny Billvall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Backman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Billvall in the 18th minute of play forced Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Sweden's Robin Eliasson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bengt Bennet in the 22 minute of the game. Roland Backman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Gabriel was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, U21 Sweden's Hans Bergfelt got a free kick in the 51st minute. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Billvall in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Beckham Jr in the 73rd minute of play forced Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Sweden's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingemar Stålman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Backman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Backman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingemar Stålman went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Ingemar Stålman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland Backman was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Ingemar Stålman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Backman having to interfere. U21 Sweden were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kåge BF for a fine match.
