Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torbjörn Nilsson started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when U21 Sweden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balthazar Bär didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Jose Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Meck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Torbjörn Nilsson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when U21 Sweden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Forsell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Fernan Berart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torbjörn Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. After 20 minutes Vykans Vikingar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Torbjörn Nilsson who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, U21 Sweden's Stig Sandström got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when U21 Sweden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Törnkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Jose Indalecio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Sweden's Ronnie Meck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led Vykans Vikingar's Faas Wilkes to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronnie Meck despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcus Ekrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balthazar Bär went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jose Indalecio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ronnie Meck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to U21 Sweden getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Hector Hanmark hit a great ball. Ronnie Meck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Indalecio, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Faas Wilkes made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Ronnie Meck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Micucci. Balthazar Bär's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. When André Törnkvist fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Sweden's protests and gave André Törnkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, U21 Sweden's André Törnkvist got a free kick in the 57th minute. Lars Dahlman hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faas Wilkes in the 60th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Ronnie Meck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Belkå kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. U21 Sweden's Dan Mårtensson was substituted for Henning Gulliksson. U21 Sweden's Sven-Olof Hamberg was substituted for Torbjörn Nilsson. A collision led to U21 Sweden getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Stefan Belkå hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Dahlman to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Nickov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Remicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ronnie Meck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronnie Meck made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Alessandro Micucci sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Eden made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernan Berart however managed to control. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Hamberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Genaro Remicio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Meck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Nickov, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Micucci.
