After a rather tough play, Wollstonecraft Rockers's Mark Yuen got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Camacho in the 14th minute of play forced Wollstonecraft Rockers's goalkeeper Ian Bedford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind GAS MONKEY's goalkeeper Gérard Hug, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ian Bedford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melvin Houée, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Wollstonecraft Rockers defense, Hamid Camacho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Bedford. The Wollstonecraft Rockers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Bedford should have stopped the shot. When Wollstonecraft Rockers's James Nicklin in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GAS MONKEY's goalie prevented a goal. Andreas Maier kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Wollstonecraft Rockers's Ian Bedford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamid Camacho in the 40th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hamid Camacho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian Bedford. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play.

The wind increased when Hamid Camacho made the kick off in the second half. When GAS MONKEY's Hamid Camacho in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wollstonecraft Rockers's goalie prevented a goal. After 53 played minutes Wollstonecraft Rockers got a freekick which was hit by Scott Wheeler. GAS MONKEY's Gérard Hug proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save GAS MONKEY from getting a goal against them. After having played for 63 minutes, James Nicklin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wollstonecraft Rockers's supporters crossed their fingers, but James Nicklin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wollstonecraft Rockers's Ian Bedford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modeste Roche in the 70th minute of play. Ian Bedford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modeste Roche in the 72nd minute of play. Modeste Roche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamid Camacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Bedford having to interfere. The supporters of GAS MONKEY booed when Wollstonecraft Rockers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Saunders didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Kevan Grellier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Bedford showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to GAS MONKEY getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Kevan Grellier hit a great ball. GAS MONKEY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wollstonecraft Rockers for a fine match.
