Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Elodio Ghinescu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that John Carew's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Bedford was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Ian Bedford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Herrera in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Wollstonecraft Rockers getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Andreas Maier hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lobster if fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! James Nicklin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nichifor Nicolae having to make a save. After some careless play in the Wollstonecraft Rockers defense, Elodio Ghinescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Bedford. The Wollstonecraft Rockers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Bedford should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elodio Ghinescu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Bedford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th match minute, Wollstonecraft Rockers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Yuen to maneuver through the defense. Ian Bedford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elodio Ghinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Johan Arhenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for James Nicklin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Andreas Maier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes Lobster if got a freekick which was hit by Krister Wästerberg. After a defensive mix-up in Wollstonecraft Rockers's zone, Elodio Ghinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Bedford came out of the goal and Elodio Ghinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ian Bedford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Arhenius in the 61st minute of play. In the 68th minute John Carew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Bedford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nichifor Nicolae came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Wollstonecraft Rockers's James Nicklin. But to his dismay, James Nicklin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 73rd minute, Scott Wheeler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Wollstonecraft Rockers booed when Lobster if was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mrongowiusz Szczepanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes Wollstonecraft Rockers got a freekick which was hit by David Henderson. 85 minutes into the match, Wollstonecraft Rockers's goal looked a bit too open when John Carew came free, but Ian Bedford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Wollstonecraft Rockers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lobster if were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
