After having played for 7 minutes, Hylton Brookes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hylton Brookes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the game's 15th minute Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Danilo Sugoi and thus the score was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Endira got free with Christopher Love in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Margaret Atwood Impact's Michael Dalton in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aberamentho's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Dalton in the 24th minute of play forced Aberamentho's goalkeeper Danilo Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Carmelo Emenon fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aberamentho's protests and gave Carmelo Emenon a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Aberamentho:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Margaret Atwood Impact:s goal. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Margaret Atwood Impact. Jim Mitchell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Danilo Sugoi. 0-2. Danilo Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Mitchell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Aberamentho's goal looked a bit too open when Mathew Gunter came free, but Danilo Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Endira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Juan Endira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christopher Love was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Aberamentho's Maximo Mosen in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Margaret Atwood Impact's goalie prevented a goal. The Aberamentho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Margaret Atwood Impact were winning 1-2.

Aberamentho's Danilo Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Dalton in the 51st minute of play. If Baldomero Orland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Aberamentho's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Dalton came free, but Danilo Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Aberamentho got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Lonzo. 64 minutes into the match, Aberamentho's goalkeeper Danilo Sugoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathew Gunter. Aberamentho's Danilo Sugoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Aberamentho from getting a goal against them. Danilo Sugoi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Michael Dalton sent off a good shot on target. Aberamentho's Esteve Lorenz was substituted for Maximo Mosen. Aberamentho made a substitution. Melchor Pueblo replaced Adolfo Poncio. Danilo Sugoi made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Jim Mitchell sent off a good shot on target. Aberamentho's Danilo Sugoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Aberamentho from getting a goal against them. Christopher Love took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Sugoi having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Michael Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margaret Atwood Impact's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Dalton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Aberamentho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Margaret Atwood Impact were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
