Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Romain Mesmakers took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ovidio Benavides kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Dalton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carel Van de Schrieck. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Hylton Brookes hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Margaret Atwood Impact was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Burgess to maneuver through the defense. Christopher Love made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Windelinckx in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Margaret Atwood Impact's Jim Mitchell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carel Van de Schrieck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carel Van de Schrieck made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jim Mitchell sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Dalton got free with Carel Van de Schrieck in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 minutes Café DE PLOEG's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jim Mitchell who took care of the corner kick. Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Café DE PLOEG from getting a goal against them. Café DE PLOEG's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Mathew Gunter scored to the left of an out of position Carel Van de Schrieck, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of Margaret Atwood Impact booed when Café DE PLOEG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charl De Metser didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jim Mitchell was the one to do the kick off. Michael Dalton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carel Van de Schrieck having to make a save. Carel Van de Schrieck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Mitchell, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Carel Van de Schrieck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Mitchell in the 58th minute of the match. If Jim Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Café DE PLOEG's Carel Van de Schrieck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Dalton in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Michael Dalton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Margaret Atwood Impact's Michael Dalton got a free kick in the 78th minute. Jeffrey Van Craesbeeck hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Carel Van de Schrieck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Michael Dalton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Café DE PLOEG's zone, Jim Mitchell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carel Van de Schrieck came out of the goal and Jim Mitchell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jim Mitchell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carel Van de Schrieck having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Margaret Atwood Impact had played much better football throughout.
