Aberamentho's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Endira in the 7th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Richárd Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Carmelo Emenon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, ORIZABA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Poncio came free, but Richárd Textex reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by ORIZABA F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Endira was slow to take the kick. During this time Aberamentho's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Aberamentho's Alejandro Martínez to fire away a dangerous shot which Richárd Textex despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aberamentho's zone, Robustiano Clementi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Sugoi came out of the goal and Robustiano Clementi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ORIZABA F.C.'s Richárd Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Poncio in the 19th minute of play. Danilo Sugoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Kosakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Aberamentho defense, Robustiano Clementi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Sugoi. The Aberamentho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Sugoi should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Clementi in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Sugoi saved Aberamentho from getting behind. Aberamentho's Danilo Sugoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Clementi in the 24th minute of play. Virgil van Dijk's late challenge caught a Aberamentho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgil van Dijk helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Virgil van Dijk got a free kick in the 31st minute. Danilo Sugoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Kosakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Robustiano Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Poncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richárd Textex having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Aberamentho's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Blunt came free, but Danilo Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half ORIZABA F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Endira to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Clementi got free with Danilo Sugoi in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ORIZABA F.C.'s Richárd Textex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Endira in the 58th minute of play. Danilo Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Blunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Carmelo Emenon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richárd Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Endira in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute Juan Endira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richárd Textex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Aberamentho booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Kosakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes, Aberamentho's Juan Endira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richárd Textex came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aberamentho reached it. Adolfo Poncio took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richárd Textex. Richárd Textex dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Endira in the 93rd minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Richárd Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ORIZABA F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
