Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Philip Palmer had great luck who in the 4thth minute grab hold of the ball when Iphikles Papadakos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Rod Williamson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rod Williamson came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Sojourner Truth Pioneers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rod Williamson couldn't finish the play. Rod Williamson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alkeides Hagias having to make a save. 9 minutes into the match, APOELHELLAS's goal looked a bit too open when Rod Williamson came free, but Alkeides Hagias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Akis Mihas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Rennie hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rod Williamson in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alkeides Hagias saved APOELHELLAS from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Rennie during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Sojourner Truth Pioneers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Rennie to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper Alkeides Hagias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Rod Williamson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alkeides Hagias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rod Williamson in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's William Rennie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alkeides Hagias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Akhilleus Markopoulos in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Paul Arnold. When William Rennie came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Sojourner Truth Pioneers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Rennie couldn't finish the play. After 45 minutes of play, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Steven Wright made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alkeides Hagias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rod Williamson made a kick off. When William Rennie was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 51 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's William Rennie got a free kick in the 51st minute. Nykteus Tsembelis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Philip Palmer. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Wright in the 62nd minute of play forced APOELHELLAS's goalkeeper Alkeides Hagias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 72 in the game by Rod Williamson from a close distance when the talented Alkeides Hagias managed to make a qualified save. APOELHELLAS's players were relieved. Rod Williamson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, APOELHELLAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akhilleus Markopoulos to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Rod Williamson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's supporters rose to their feet, but Rod Williamson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkeides Hagias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akhilleus Markopoulos during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sojourner Truth Pioneers booed when APOELHELLAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akhilleus Markopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steven Wright didn't quite understand what happened when in the 86 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Rod Williamson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sojourner Truth Pioneers played a much better game than APOELHELLAS and deserved their victory. The APOELHELLAS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
