In the 6th minute, Francis Horton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, 高剑克 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rod Williamson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but 唐梁城 firmly grabbed it by the left post. When 洪平斌 fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯'s protests and gave 洪平斌 a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯ getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. 洪平斌 hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯'s goal looked a bit too open when Rod Williamson came free, but 唐梁城 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes in the game 雷洋庭 did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to 鲁永浩. In the 18th minute 鲁永浩 suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Simon Gluck fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sojourner Truth Pioneers's protests and gave Simon Gluck a yellow card for diving instead. Simon Gluck hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 高剑克 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 minutes, 刘枫亦 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯ and the Sojourner Truth Pioneers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 刘枫亦 to maneuver through the defense. Philip Palmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 高剑克 in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯ got a corner. Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a rather tough play, Sojourner Truth Pioneers's Rod Williamson got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 高剑克 in the 37th minute of play forced Sojourner Truth Pioneers's goalkeeper Philip Palmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 高剑克 struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Philip Palmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯. After 40 played minutes Sojourner Truth Pioneers got a freekick which was hit by Simon Gluck. In the 41st minute 高剑克 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 尹耀斐 might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Palmer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 尹耀斐 ran back to his position shaking his head. 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯'s attack was well implemented in the 44th minute, but when 高剑克 was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If 尹耀斐 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Philip Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 高剑克 in the 57th minute of the match. 高剑克 did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Philip Palmer 61 minutes into the match. Philip Palmer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 洪平斌. 刘枫亦 got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. William Rennie might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 唐梁城. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Rennie ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute of the game 雷洋庭 made a throw-in which Philip Lovecraft played forward. In the 84th minute, 雷洋庭 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Rennie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. 唐梁城 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when 尹耀斐 got free with Philip Palmer in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. 尹耀斐 hit a great ball. 『挑战者』輝煌16人￠明月何时照我还≮FCB≯'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
