Achtung Babies's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celso Loreto in the 16th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Agustín Ruberto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Spams's Nereo Diagur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Spams from getting a goal against them. Elliot Stanley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Llorienzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The corner led Spams's Andrej Kramarić to fire away a dangerous shot which Elliot Stanley despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Agustín Ruberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nereo Diagur.
