In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skull Sport F.C's goalkeeper Reynaldo Astrada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeremy White hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Eurico Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Barral in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Skull Sport F.C booed when Achtung Babies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Sayveon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Raimundo da Silveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eurico Velloso skillfully saved the ball. Eurico Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cui Xiang Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Achtung Babies got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Díaz. After 25 played minutes Achtung Babies got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Sayveon. Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony de Senna in the 29th minute of play. After 36 minutes Achtung Babies's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raimundo da Silveira who took care of the corner kick. 42 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's Héctor Mainer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Astrada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eurico Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cui Xiang Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Héctor Mainer to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Cui Xiang Zhen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Achtung Babies's Eurico Velloso. Eurico Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santiago Sosa kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Achtung Babies's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santiago Sosa in the 59th minute. A nice corner shot did that Santiago Sosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Reynaldo Astrada quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eurico Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Martins in the 60th minute of play. Reynaldo Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor Mainer in the 63rd minute of the match. Skull Sport F.C were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Achtung Babies's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raimundo da Silveira took the corner. The corner led Skull Sport F.C's Raimundo da Silveira to fire away a dangerous shot which Eurico Velloso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Achtung Babies's Jeremy White got a free kick in the 68th minute. Reynaldo Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram Van Der Burg in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram Van Der Burg in the 79th minute of play forced Skull Sport F.C's goalkeeper Reynaldo Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Achtung Babies got a freekick which was hit by Jan Falkiewicz. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 84th minute, when Skull Sport F.C's Raimundo da Silveira after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Eurico Velloso in Achtung Babies's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cui Xiang Zhen got free with Eurico Velloso in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundo da Silveira hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Van Der Burg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Skull Sport F.C players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
