Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alain Laux got the match started through his kick off. Alain Laux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Guy Huntley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Premier FC's Alain Laux ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guy Huntley. Guy Huntley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Premier FC's Alva Spangler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinn Bisaillon in the 11th minute of play. If Quinn Bisaillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavier Ellis might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guy Huntley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavier Ellis ran back to his position shaking his head. Lyman Carignan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alva Spangler having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinn Bisaillon in the 29th minute of play forced Premier FC's goalkeeper Alva Spangler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alain Laux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Premier FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alain Laux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Huntley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Heriberto Sauvé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alva Spangler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alain Laux struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Guy Huntley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Premier FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quinn Bisaillon made a kick off. Quinn Bisaillon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alva Spangler came out and tried to block the shot, but Quinn Bisaillon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 55th minute. Premier FC's Rolando Costello was substituted for Isidore Lang. In the 63rd minute, Eustache Conner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Carmelo Royer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Alain Laux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Premier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alain Laux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Premier FC's Alva Spangler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Premier FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Premier FC's Rodney Chamberlain got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 94th minute, Quinn Bisaillon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Terrell Butts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alva Spangler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peterborough FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
