Premier FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alain Laux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rory Trejo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Premier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rory Trejo to maneuver through the defense. Jerrold Croteau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Laux, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Robbie Buckley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deandre Huard hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alain Laux's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerrold Croteau was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Klemtoo FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
