La France's Kjell Støle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save La France from getting a goal against them. Kjell Støle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Cordairo in the 18th minute of the match. Kjell Støle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Paublo in the 20th minute. Denis Lleir kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Fulgencio Farias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Melendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Cesar Melendes took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Farias. Fulgencio Farias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 29th minute Cesar Melendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Farias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Støle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Bermund in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, La France's Kjell Støle got control of the ball when Julian Paublo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cesar Melendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Melendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kjell Støle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Cordairo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Melendes was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Melendes got free with Fulgencio Farias in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th match minute, Fortuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Lleir to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, La France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavol Pucher to maneuver through the defense. Kjell Støle came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Fortuna's Fernan Jayvier. But to his dismay, Fernan Jayvier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kjell Støle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Gaudencio Pelayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Farias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Støle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Paublo in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Wilfredo Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Støle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justino Arotza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Støle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, La France's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Paublo came free, but Kjell Støle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaudencio Pelayo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulgencio Farias. That made the score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play. The La France players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
