Justino Arotza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Berenguer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 17th minute Julian Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Berenguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Jayvier came free, but Alvaro Berenguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Berenguer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th match minute, Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Matxin to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Justino Arotza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Berenguer was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Paublo came free, but Alvaro Berenguer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Platense's Alvaro Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Paublo in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Platense's Nicasio Gonzalez got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fortuna had won after a very even match.
