The audience thought a goal was coming when Dániel Selymes got free with Kornél Sarkady in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the game, one of Astra:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Munkás. Attila Győri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kornél Sarkady. 1-0. After 18 minutes, Roman Noe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Munkás and the Astra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Astra booed when Munkás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Noe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kornél Kósa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csongor Bacsó in the 23rd minute of play. When Dávid Forgács fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Astra's protests and gave Dávid Forgács a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Astra's Dávid Forgács got a free kick in the 28th minute. Tamás Zsinka lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Kornél Sarkady went to the wrong direction when Attila Győri was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Munkás booed when Astra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ákos Csiszár didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Attila Győri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Munkás's Dániel Selymes got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Gábor Vígh notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Munkás's Kornél Kósa. Kornél Kósa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Munkás's Kornél Kósa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Munkás from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Attila Győri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kornél Sarkady was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Gábor Vígh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kornél Sarkady made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dániel Selymes in the 79th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gábor Vígh got free with Kornél Kósa in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the game, Dániel Selymes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Kornél Sarkady was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gábor Vígh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
