The attack was good, but when Atak Cevher in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Kağan Kaptan in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davut Kaçkar saved Şaheser FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökçen Turay got free with Osman Ali Camcıoğlu in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osman Ali Camcıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haluk Tokgöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Davut Kaçkar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Kağan Kaptan's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Şaheser FC's zone, Ahmet Kağan Kaptan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davut Kaçkar came out of the goal and Ahmet Kağan Kaptan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atak Cevher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davut Kaçkar having to interfere. When Ahmet Kağan Kaptan came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the İstanbull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Kağan Kaptan couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Kağan Kaptan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Davut Kaçkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Kağan Kaptan was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Ahmet Kağan Kaptan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Şaheser FC's Davut Kaçkar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Şaheser FC's goalkeeper Davut Kaçkar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baran Çırakoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman Ali Camcıoğlu having to interfere. Davut Kaçkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kağan Kaptan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Ahmet Kağan Kaptan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Kağan Kaptan had several of the Şaheser FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Davut Kaçkar as he didn't even see the shot coming. With an all-out effort, İstanbull's Davut Kaçkar threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Kağan Kaptan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Osman Ali Camcıoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haluk Tokgöz went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Kağan Kaptan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Davut Kaçkar. That made the score 2-2 in the 71 minute of play. Atak Cevher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osman Ali Camcıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haluk Tokgöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, İstanbull's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Çırakoğlu came free, but Osman Ali Camcıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davut Kaçkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kağan Kaptan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Davut Kaçkar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Kağan Kaptan in the 93rd minute of the match. Davut Kaçkar came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by İstanbull's Atak Cevher. But to his dismay, Atak Cevher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. The Şaheser FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. İstanbull were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
