Arif Tugay Özboga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Cagaloglu's Yağızhan Cevizci got a free kick in the 9th minute. Süruri İlkay struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Buğrahan Onguner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edeler FC. After a defensive mix-up in Edeler FC's zone, Azmi Uluerkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Tugay Özboga came out of the goal and Azmi Uluerkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yağızalp Özgunes's late challenge caught a Edeler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yağızalp Özgunes helped the player get up and apologised. Edeler FC's Esat Pozan got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yusuf Bahadır Uruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Cagaloglu's Azmi Uluerkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Buğrahan Onguner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esat Pozan in the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Azmi Uluerkan made the kick off in the second half. When Edeler FC's Mehmet Ediz Yücelen in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Buğrahan Onguner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Süruri İlkay, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Arif Tugay Özboga was a little too slow when Azmi Uluerkan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yusuf Bahadır Uruk got free with Arif Tugay Özboga in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
