In the 3rd minute, Remzi Uzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Edeler FC booed when ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayfur Alişan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ's Joam Anduaga got control of the ball when Şaban Karacabey tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Edeler FC were awarded a corner. Esat Pozan went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Edeler FC's Seyfettin Erseven got a free kick in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Edeler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Seyfullah Hattat came free, but Arif Tugay Özboga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reşat Savaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Seyfettin Erseven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tayfur Alişan came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tayfur Alişan couldn't finish the play. When Edeler FC's Esat Pozan in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Edeler FC's Esat Pozan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joam Anduaga. Joam Anduaga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Seyfullah Hattat's late challenge caught a Edeler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seyfullah Hattat helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Süruri İlkay got free with Joam Anduaga in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arif Tugay Özboga came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ's Seyfullah Hattat. But to his dismay, Seyfullah Hattat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Seyfullah Hattat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tayfur Alişan made the kick off in the second half. Edeler FC's Esat Pozan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joam Anduaga in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Edeler FC's zone, Tayfur Alişan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Tugay Özboga came out of the goal and Tayfur Alişan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seyfullah Hattat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Arif Tugay Özboga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reşat Savaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Tugay Özboga having to interfere. Esat Pozan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joam Anduaga having to interfere. Tayfur Alişan struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Arif Tugay Özboga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ. Reşat Savaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Tugay Özboga having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Seyfullah Hattat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arif Tugay Özboga. Seyfullah Hattat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Seyfettin Erseven struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Joam Anduaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edeler FC. Despite being the better team, ATATÜRK GENÇLİĞİ failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
