The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspard Izquierdo in the 8th minute of play forced U21 Turkey's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberino Pujana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ayvaz Torum in the 9th minute. With his leg Alberino Pujana managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when U21 Turkey's Ayvaz Torum fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. U21 Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Ayvaz Torum scored to the left of an out of position Alberino Pujana, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ayvaz Torum in the 16th minute of play forced U21 Venezuela's goalkeeper Alberino Pujana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, U21 Turkey's Alberino Pujana threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ayvaz Torum, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Isa Günyol got free in front of the goal in the 18th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Alberino Pujana was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Rosio Tineo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When U21 Turkey's Ayvaz Torum in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isa Günyol got free with Alberino Pujana in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38thth minute of the game Ayvaz Torum who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Venezuela's Alberino Pujana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ayvaz Torum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Isa Günyol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ayvaz Torum made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, U21 Turkey's Ayvaz Torum made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberino Pujana was left in no man's land by his defense there! 54 minutes into the match, Ayvaz Torum had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberino Pujana. U21 Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ayvaz Torum was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Alberino Pujana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ayvaz Torum's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 63rd match minute, U21 Turkey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alpay Akbudun to maneuver through the defense. U21 Turkey made a substitution. Yavuz Selim Gulson replaced Ayvaz Torum. Alpay Akbudun kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspard Izquierdo got free with Gianluca Buffon in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, İbrahim Efe Akarsu made a precise shot to the right of Alberino Pujana. U21 Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Gianluca Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspard Izquierdo in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Yavuz Selim Gulson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Turkey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavuz Selim Gulson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Yavuz Selim Gulson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Turkey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. It was a well-played corner which Yavuz Selim Gulson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 85th minute, Yavuz Selim Gulson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Turkey fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Alberino Pujana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yavuz Selim Gulson went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score.
