The supporters of U21 Turkey booed when U21 Azerbaijan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tärik Qäribov didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Yavuz Selim Gulson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariz Äsädulla was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, İbrahim Efe Akarsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariz Äsädulla. U21 Azerbaijan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İbrahim Efe Akarsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 91 minutes into the match, Yavuz Selim Gulson notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of U21 Azerbaijan's Ariz Äsädulla. Ariz Äsädulla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. U21 Turkey's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
