An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Huera in the 11th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Avellana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Burgo in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana got control of the ball when Gerardo Huera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vincent Villacanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gasteiz Latorre, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Gasteiz Latorre put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vincent Villacanes. Erki Uba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vincent Villacanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Burgo got free with Jeremy Avellana in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana got control of the ball when Christian Burgo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Montrell Bolonga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erki Uba hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Celso Trasloseros kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Burgo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Celso Trasloseros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Trasloseros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Villacanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sotil Cedrun hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Cao Kuan Wei was substituted for Marco Aguirre. U21 Uruguay's Asteri Polo was substituted for Christian Burgo. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg was substituted for Gasteiz Latorre. U21 Uruguay made a substitution. Henric Monta replaced Etxepare Angostina. After 57 played minutes U21 Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Sotil Cedrun. After 60 minutes of play, U21 Uruguay's Asteri Polo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremy Avellana was left in no man's land by his defense there! U21 Uruguay made a substitution. Jeraldo Ompanera replaced Gerardo Huera. U21 Uruguay's Vincent Villacanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Öberg in the 65th minute of play. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Danilo Mendonça in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Asteri Polo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremy Avellana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anthon Öbergs short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Vincent Villacanes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anthon Öberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincent Villacanes having to make a save. Celso Trasloseros kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Sotil Cedrun threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Erki Uba quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sotil Cedrun made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Celso Trasloseros. After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Salvino Masses got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 90 played minutes U21 Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Gizon Lascano. Vincent Villacanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthon Öberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
