Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fergus Maina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radu Borza's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Niculae Ailenei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gutierre Lauri in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Ämmer Sportfreaks got a corner. Chevaliers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Willem Rinert ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Patricius Lafranchi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Fergus Maina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Pandele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Chevaliers FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Pandele. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricius Lafranchi in the 36th minute of play forced Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ämmer Sportfreaks booed when Chevaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Pandele didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Chevaliers FC made a substitution. Sorin Gurgui replaced Radu Borza. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gutierre Lauri to make the kick off. In the 95th minute, Willem Rinert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
