But to his dismay, Antonio Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Vasco FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Guilherme Heidemann hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris-George Chevalier in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franklin Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chevaliers FC's Cristinel Pandele was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franklin Bittencourt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chris-George Chevalier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Bittencourt having to interfere. Cristinel Pandele's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Franklin Bittencourt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Chris-George Chevalier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Bittencourt was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Navarro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Antonio Navarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vasco FC's Franklin Bittencourt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Antonio Navarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franklin Bittencourt. Vasco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Navarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Navarro in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Bittencourt saved Vasco FC from getting behind. In the 65th minute Cristinel Pandele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Vasco FC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Frasco. Franklin Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Chevaliers FC's Antonio Navarro. But to his dismay, Antonio Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 71 minutes into the match, Antonio Navarro notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Vasco FC's Franklin Bittencourt. Franklin Bittencourt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Franklin Bittencourt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Navarro's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Chris-George Chevalier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franklin Bittencourt was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vasco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nikola Vlašić was slow to take the kick. During this time Chevaliers FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Chevaliers FC's corner Nikola Vlašić fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franklin Bittencourt quite easily take care of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Vasco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chris-George Chevalier came free, but Franklin Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris-George Chevalier in the 88th minute of play forced Vasco FC's goalkeeper Franklin Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasco FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
