William Taylor charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Taylor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. William Taylor hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Francis in the 14th minute of play forced Zawodzie SA's goalkeeper Jurand Czerniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jurand Czerniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Witomir Dziatkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Stephen Clough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Zawodzie SA's Feliks Brzakala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stephen Clough. That made the score 1-2 after 43 minutes of play. Jurand Furtok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jurand Furtok to strike the kick off in the second half. Stephen Clough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurand Furtok, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Stephen Clough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Furtok in the 80th minute of the match. Grzegorz Jerzyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stephen Clough read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Jurand Czerniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Carrie in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Raymond Williams ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurand Czerniak was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kryspin Soszka during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zawodzie SA's Kryspin Soszka got a free kick in the 95th minute.
