BERTİZ JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Stephen Clough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artun Korcan in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Arif İzhan in the 25th minute of play forced Ada Lovelace Engines's goalkeeper Stephen Clough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artun Korcan struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Stephen Clough didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BERTİZ JK. After some careless play in the Ada Lovelace Engines defense, Ahmet Baki Zafer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stephen Clough. The Ada Lovelace Engines fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stephen Clough should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, William Taylor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ada Lovelace Engines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BERTİZ JK the free kick. William Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ada Lovelace Engines booed when BERTİZ JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacit Demiroğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Ada Lovelace Engines's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Baki Zafer came free, but Stephen Clough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Aşık Adıbelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Stephen Clough was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ahmet Baki Zafer might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stephen Clough. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Baki Zafer ran back to his position shaking his head. Artun Korcan got in the 46th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Stephen Clough handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Francis was the one to do the kick off. Ada Lovelace Engines's Stephen Clough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Baki Zafer in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Artun Korcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephen Clough was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The crowd rose to their feet as BERTİZ JK's Aşık Adıbelli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stephen Clough. That made the score 1-5 after 60 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, BERTİZ JK's Baturhan Birtan got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 68th play minute Artun Korcan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stephen Clough. 1-6. Stephen Clough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Baki Zafer in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, BERTİZ JK's Mustafa Arif İzhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stephen Clough made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. 91 minutes into the match, Ada Lovelace Engines's goalkeeper Stephen Clough had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artun Korcan. Rafettin Nasuh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Francis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
