Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Taito Koivuranta took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dante Fernendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taito Koivuranta in the 2nd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Doğuş Turabi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taito Koivuranta in the 9th minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Dante Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Voitto Nyrhinen came free, but Dante Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, one of Sporting de Gijón:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sporting de Gijón. In the 22nd minute, Taito Koivuranta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Fernendo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 24th minute, Diego Maradona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yan Chong Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Fernendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taito Koivuranta, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Taito Koivuranta came free, but Dante Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Sporting de Gijón got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Dominix. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting de Gijón's zone, Voitto Nyrhinen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Fernendo came out of the goal and Voitto Nyrhinen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Fernendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taito Koivuranta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting de Gijón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toni Fabich was slow to take the kick. During this time Palloketut's players had a chance to rest. Sporting de Gijón's Dante Fernendo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting de Gijón from getting a goal against them. Dante Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taito Koivuranta in the 45th minute of the match. Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Bonadona in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Bonadona made a kick off. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikhard Elomo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Taito Koivuranta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademar Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Yan Chong Sen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sporting de Gijón's Dante Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taito Koivuranta in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's Ademar Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yan Chong Sen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Voitto Nyrhinen came free, but Dante Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Doğuş Turabi got a free kick in the 78th minute. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Alejandro Rufo replaced Ademar Rocha. Doğuş Turabi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Palloketut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Voitto Nyrhinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Rikhard Elomo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes Sporting de Gijón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toni Fabich who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Toni Fabich almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting de Gijón's Dante Fernendo did a great save. Dante Fernendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğuş Turabi in the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match, Gabriel-Omar Batistuta got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yan Chong Sen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Taito Koivuranta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palloketut's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
