In the 2nd minute Matias Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eros André saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting de Gijón were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Paradox FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saturnino Curcio took the corner. Sporting de Gijón's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saturnino Curcio in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Bilintx in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eros André saved Paradox FC from getting behind. In the 9th minute of the match Paradox FC got a corner. Sporting de Gijón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arne Linberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Konrad Överman during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Konrad Överman hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Paradox FC's Ola Möller got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute Sven-Edvin Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ola Möller kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Paradox FC's Eros André proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Paradox FC from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Paradox FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bilintx came free, but Eros André reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Denis Bonadona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eros André, 1-0. Eros André showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bilintx in the 25th minute of the match. Paradox FC's Eros André proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Paradox FC from getting a goal against them. Eros André made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Bonadona in the 33rd minute. Paradox FC's Eros André played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Bonadona in the 35th minute of play. When Sporting de Gijón's Denis Bonadona, in the 35th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. After taking down the ball on Sporting de Gijón's corner Saturnino Curcio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eros André quite easily take care of the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Paradox FC's goalkeeper Eros André had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Bilintx. Sporting de Gijón's Dante Fernendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Dahlkvist in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Paradox FC were awarded a corner. Arne Linberg went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 46th match minute, Paradox FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Möller to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Folke Dahlkvist made a kick off. Eros André showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bilintx in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Denis Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eros André saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eros André having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Matias Bilintx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eros André was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Bilintx in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eros André prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eros André showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paradox FC's zone, Ademar Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eros André came out of the goal and Ademar Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Matias Bilintx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paradox FC's Eros André was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Bilintx in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eros André saved Paradox FC from getting behind. In the 87th minute Matias Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eros André saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademar Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Matias Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eros André saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Paradox FC defense, Matias Bilintx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eros André. The Paradox FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eros André should have stopped the shot. Andy Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting de Gijón fully deserved thier win.
