The crowd rose to their feet as Palloketut's Toni Fabich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brazilio Butt. That made the score 1-0 after 41 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Fabich in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in DIF LEEDS BK's zone, Toni Fabich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brazilio Butt came out of the goal and Toni Fabich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yan Chong Sen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute.
