Yaşar Nuri Hendekli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Miggiani in the 51st minute of the match. U21 Malta's Clayton Gerada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiz Karaeski in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 played minutes Büyükada Commandos got a freekick which was hit by Fitrah Bagjanata. Richard Rapinett hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Richard Pavia charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richard Pavia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Büyükada Commandos booed when U21 Malta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Pavia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, U21 Malta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Apap to maneuver through the defense. Yaşar Nuri Hendekli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Callus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
