Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oskar Kupits started the match with the kick off. Tim Bergfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Miggiani in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Oskar Kupits notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of U21 Malta's Clayton Gerada. Clayton Gerada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 6th match minute, U21 Malta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Pavia to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, A.C. GöstasHjältar's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Triganza came free, but Tim Bergfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Rolf Jönsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C. GöstasHjältar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Malta the free kick. A collision led to A.C. GöstasHjältar getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rolf Jönsson hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Steve Triganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Bergfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Andrew Miggiani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tim Bergfelt. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 14th minute, Karl-Magnus Björkdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Triganza in the 15th minute of play forced A.C. GöstasHjältar's goalkeeper Tim Bergfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Malta's Clayton Gerada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Kielberg in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kent Kielberg in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clayton Gerada saved U21 Malta from getting behind. Clayton Gerada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Kupits in the 20th minute of the match. Andrew Miggiani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Tim Bergfelt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 24 minutes into the game, U21 Malta's Andrew Miggiani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tim Bergfelt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Steve Triganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Bergfelt having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Richard Pavia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Malta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Pavia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Richard Pavia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Andrew Miggiani got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 42 minutes into the match, U21 Malta's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Thedin came free, but Clayton Gerada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrew Miggiani in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tim Bergfelt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Triganza in the 46th minute of play forced A.C. GöstasHjältar's goalkeeper Tim Bergfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrew Miggiani was the one to do the kick off. Tim Bergfelt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrew Miggiani went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Tim Bergfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Callus in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of U21 Malta booed when A.C. GöstasHjältar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincent Callus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Andrew Miggiani put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tim Bergfelt. When Rolf Jönsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. A collision led to A.C. GöstasHjältar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rolf Jönsson hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, A.C. GöstasHjältar's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Callus came free, but Tim Bergfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Malta's Andrew Miggiani got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, U21 Malta's Andrew Miggiani made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Bergfelt was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Vincent Callus came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the U21 Malta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Callus couldn't finish the play. Tim Bergfelt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrew Miggiani went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score.
