Büyükada Commandos's Yaşar Nuri Hendekli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bekir Çolakoğlu in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sarı kaya FK's Sezgin Öktuğ got a free kick in the 11th minute. Menderes Tekdoğan made an important save on a dangerous shot by İlkan Ağın in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Doğan Üstek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, Büyükada Commandos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aral Saltık to maneuver through the defense. Şevket Şölen kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Altan Toygar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Menderes Tekdoğan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vecdi Oruz during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Sarı kaya FK got a freekick which was hit by Vecdi Oruz. Ulaş Arya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Menderes Tekdoğan having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Büyükada Commandos's Aral Saltık got a free kick in the 36th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Menderes Tekdoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlkan Ağın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Sarı kaya FK getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mustafa Necati Başok hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Zülfikar Tanaydin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Menderes Tekdoğan skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Sarı kaya FK booed when Büyükada Commandos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şevket Şölen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Altan Toygar kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Büyükada Commandos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Altan Toygar to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Necati Başok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Yaşar Nuri Hendekli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Büyükada Commandos's Burhan Özyurt was substituted for Altan Toygar. After having played for 80 minutes, Hadi Melik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Büyükada Commandos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hadi Melik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulaş Arya kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Mustafa Necati Başok came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Sarı kaya FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Necati Başok couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarı kaya FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Büyükada Commandos.
