The supporters of Cabernet TintoSweet Club booed when FC Bredene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafik Zoheir Zerara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Bautmans was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Antonio Urtun. 15 minutes into the match, FC Bredene's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Ted came free, but Peter Bautmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Bredene's Johnny Van Den Wijngaert suffered a sore thigh after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Ioritz during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Bredene's Louis Schollens was substituted for Johnny Van Den Wijngaert. A collision led to Cabernet TintoSweet Club getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Severo Ioritz hit a great ball. Pieter-Maarten Vaes kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute Ivan Ted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Bautmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Kounadakis in the 26th minute of play. Antonio Urtun kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Saul Ospin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aris Kounadakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter-Maarten Vaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Pieter-Maarten Vaes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saul Ospin. Cabernet TintoSweet Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pieter-Maarten Vaes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Rick Wood was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bredene's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabernet TintoSweet Club the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, FC Bredene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rick Wood to maneuver through the defense. FC Bredene's Peter Bautmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bredene from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 36 in the game by Ivan Ted from a close distance when the talented Peter Bautmans managed to make a qualified save. FC Bredene's players were relieved. Aris Kounadakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Tadeo Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Ted stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 谢正西 kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Celestino Belarmo charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Belarmo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celestino Belarmo got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Severo Ioritz. The FC Bredene players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
