Benjamin Onofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Harri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Onofre ran back to his position shaking his head. Benjamin Onofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Harri came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Independiente's Benjamin Onofre. But to his dismay, Benjamin Onofre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Benjamin Onofre made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Harri. Cachipampa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Cachipampa's zone, Prudencio Txomin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Harri came out of the goal and Prudencio Txomin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cachipampa's Tadeo Harri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Onofre in the 19th minute of play. C.A. Independiente's Fabio Peli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tadeo Harri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tadeo Harri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Txomin's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Fabio Peli kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Tadeo Harri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Onofre's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Onofre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Harri was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 34 minutes, Benjamin Onofre made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Benjamin Onofre sped through Cachipampa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeo Harri. Benjamin Onofre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Harri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Cachipampa's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Onofre came free, but Tadeo Harri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Onofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Harri having to interfere.

When Nemesio Cordearo fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachipampa's protests and gave Nemesio Cordearo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.A. Independiente booed when Cachipampa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Cachipampa's goalkeeper Tadeo Harri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Onofre. Cachipampa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by J.P. Godart in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Benjamin Onofre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Harri. Cachipampa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Onofre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Onofre in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeo Harri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 78 minutes, Fabio Peli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Peli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Prudencio Txomin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeo Harri. That made the score 0-8 in the 80 minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Prudencio Txomin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Prudencio Txomin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tadeo Harri. That made the score 0-9 in the 84 minute of play. Tadeo Harri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Onofre in the 90th minute of play. C.A. Independiente's Fabio Peli got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeo Harri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Onofre in the 92nd minute of play. The Cachipampa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. Independiente were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
