Hélder Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Fredriksson in the 11th minute of play. Hélder Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Fredriksson in the 12th minute of the match. Luiz Gustavo do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mats Josefsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Gustavo do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. Buksvinens IF's Mats Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo do Valle in the 13th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo do Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Josefsson having to make a save. Ubatuba were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Buksvinens IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aristides Sagarteguieta took the corner. Mats Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo do Valle in the 20th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo do Valle in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mats Josefsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 26 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo do Valle notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Buksvinens IF's Mats Josefsson. Mats Josefsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Rydberg in the 28th minute of play forced Ubatuba's goalkeeper Hélder Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Gustavo do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mats Josefsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Gustavo do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. Hélder Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Vallengren in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Luiz Gustavo do Valle took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mats Josefsson to make any attempt to save it. 41 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's Luiz Gustavo do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Josefsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José Augusto Araújo lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Ubatuba getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. José Augusto Araújo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ubatuba's Pedro Cardozo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Hélder Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Rydberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Ubatuba's Hélder Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ubatuba from getting a goal against them. Hélder Travassos was a little too slow when Felix Fredriksson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 3-1. Albano Henric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Gustavo do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mats Josefsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Gustavo do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. Albano Henric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albano Henric struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mats Josefsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ubatuba. Ubatuba made a substitution. Emil Kostadinov replaced Júnior Zanette. Ubatuba's Juvenal Paraibano was substituted for Luiz Gustavo do Valle. Mats Josefsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juvenal Paraibano in the 73rd minute of the match. Albano Henric's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Josefsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Paraibano in the 84th minute of play forced Buksvinens IF's goalkeeper Mats Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Ubatuba's corner Wiliam Vale fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mats Josefsson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Casper Vallengren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hélder Travassos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ubatuba had won after a very even match.
