Rubinho Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo do Valle in the 12th minute of the match. La Società Sport Osasco's Rubinho Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo do Valle in the 22nd minute of play. Albano Henric fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Lago having to interfere. In the 34th minute, CJ Lewandowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Sagarteguieta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rubinho Lago came out and tried to block the shot, but Aristides Sagarteguieta slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. Ubatuba's Hélder Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Leo in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Denílson Abreu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubatuba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Società Sport Osasco the free kick. After 46 played minutes Ubatuba got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Abreu. Pedro Cardozo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, Luiz Leo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ubatuba's Hélder Travassos. Hélder Travassos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Albano Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Luiz Gustavo do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Leo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Società Sport Osasco made a substitution. Gilvan Maranhense replaced Luiz Leo. After 81 minutes, Albano Henric mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ubatuba and the La Società Sport Osasco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albano Henric kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 87th minute, CJ Lewandowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, José Augusto Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Maranhense came free, but Hélder Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Società Sport Osasco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
