United FC's Beltxe PujarµN got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lando Ermua came free, but Cresconio Cavia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tavio Prus came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Fire Breathers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tavio Prus couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes, Pastor Balza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the United FC and the Fire Breathers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of United FC booed when Fire Breathers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lando Ermua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cresconio Cavia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lando Ermua in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Fire Breathers FC were awarded a corner. Osoitz Cascajares went to the cornerflag to take it. 24 minutes into the game, Lando Ermua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cresconio Cavia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bernard Lizarazu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. In the 36th minute, United FC's Roberto Saro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Roberto Saro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of United FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Roberto Saro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Fire Breathers FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lando Ermua, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of United FC's Cresconio Cavia. 0-2. Anacleto Terrilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xilo Cortada, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Lando Ermua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cresconio Cavia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Fire Breathers FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jatsu Tixido hit a great ball. After the first half Fire Breathers FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lando Ermua made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xilo Cortada in the 55th minute of play forced Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Terrilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, United FC's Xilo Cortada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anacleto Terrilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 61 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xilo Cortada came free, but Anacleto Terrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
