The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zlatko Friedl kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. United FC's Martino Trabado shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hemmo Bielstein but with some difficulty. Hemmo Bielstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egun Galan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 8th match minute, United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Alda to maneuver through the defense. Cisco Rubial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Pöhnl in the 12th minute of play. Hemmo Bielstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilen Martioda in the 14th minute. Justin Schaffert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cisco Rubial having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Joost Mackenthun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cisco Rubial. United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joost Mackenthun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cisco Rubial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joost Mackenthun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Pöhnl came free, but Cisco Rubial reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egun Galan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hemmo Bielstein having to make a save. Cisco Rubial took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joost Mackenthun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. United FC's Cisco Rubial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joost Mackenthun in the 36th minute of play. When Manolo Hofmann came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Outer Space FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manolo Hofmann couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Joost Mackenthun made the kick off in the second half. Rafael Pöhnl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cisco Rubial made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Joost Mackenthun sent off a good shot on target. Hemmo Bielstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilen Martioda in the 70th minute of play. Hemmo Bielstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egun Galan in the 72nd minute of play. Cisco Rubial made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justin Schaffert in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes, Matthew Vall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the United FC and the Outer Space FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baltasar Zunzunegui kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Egun Galan kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind United FC's goalkeeper Cisco Rubial, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Manolo Hofmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes, Mike Cornelißen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Outer Space FC and the United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. United FC's Egun Galan got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Outer Space FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
